Meet Bec — founder of Macon Beauties, Southern creative, and your go-to for bold, confidence-building hair. With 13+ years behind the chair, Bec combines her artistic eye with a laid-back, welcoming approach that makes every client feel right at home. Originally from Macon, Georgia, she brought her Southern roots to Traverse City to create a salon space where individuality and self-expression come first. Known for vivid colors, dimensional blonding, edgy cuts, fades, and transformative styles, Bec loves creating hair that feels effortless, modern, and uniquely tailored to each person who sits in her chair. Her work is inspired by everything from grunge and western aesthetics to lived-in beauty and rock & roll edge. I’ve proudly made Traverse City, Michigan my home, where I live with my amazing husband Joshua and our two lovable dogs.
